Bill was a man who pulled his own weight, enjoyed humor, loved his camp at Ox Pond, seemed to live for deer camp, enjoyed fishing, could construct most anything, liked hot woodheaters, was a wardens worry, and an advocate. I will miss him. 9/20th

Dear Vicki and Billy,
I am so sorry I could not find any notation in the register about your Dad before I left town. I was in Prospect and found out when the funeral was on Sat Afternoon. I was unable to get to the Home in time. I am so sorry that you lost your Dad. I will miss his E-MAILS.I never got to meet him in person but I know he was a good person. This illness he developed is foremost in my prayers as my grandsdon has Leukemia also.I will be coillecting for Leukemia in my neighborhood this coming Month. Also have done Walk-A Thons for my Grandson from his college in Providence,R.I. I hope you will accept my hearfelt sympathy.
God Bless

I am sorry that I cannot be with you at this difficult time. Uncle Billy brings back wonderful childhood memories when he worked with my father and came by on Friday evenings. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Bill was a young teen when my mom&I, after my dad's death in WWII, were spending more time at Ramsdell Pl, Westville. Thru those years, Uncle Bill, 'tho a typical teen in most ways, was exceptionally kind to and tolerant of his much younger&duller cousin....me. He showed me secret places around the house&gardens and shared all his favorite places for a quick&delicious snack: like going thru the hedge to the raspberries to avoid being seen. Contrary to popular family lore, he did NOT push me over the fence into the pigpen.....I fell in totally without any help. He was the proud keeper of the Szirbik sons military history and I proudly accompanied him to the burial of Uncle Joe in Arlington National. Tight (fishing)lines, Uncle Bill
