Guestbook for Karl Lennart Ogren Showing 1 - 25 of 33 entries.

I am sorry to hear that Karl has passed away. He was a good risk manager and colleague. I always enjoyed seeing him at meetings, from ECNE to AEGIS to EIM to EEI. He did not talk as much as others, but when he did, everybody listened. He is missed.

Dear Julie and family, shocked and saddened to hear the news.. Have
fond memories of growing up with Karl on Barrett street. You were
always welcome in his house. The summers spent caddying at the
Country Club and every Monday morning at first light trying to play
as many holes as possible before you were kicked off the course at noon. Not to mention on occasion jumping the fence in the evening
to play a few holes. Always a good laugh. He always liked a comfortable
car and even broke out the Jaguar the last time we played golf
together. Will treasure the fond memories. Our thoughts are with you
all. Mike and Rosemary Hagen, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England.

Julie: I'll always remember Carl with a special fondness and comradery. He was so easy to talk with, whether about business matters (claims and insurance) or personal/social/news of the day issues. We always seemed to hook up for a good part of the time that we spent at various industry seminars and meetings (EEI; AEGIS; ECNE) as well as at other functions that we attended. He really was one of the good guys. We will miss him.

Julie and Family---

Monsignor was kind enough to tell us about Karl... We are deeply saddened by your loss. He was a true friend to all of us --- just as you have been. Despite not speaking with you recently, and the distance between us, we share an all-too-common thread... Our years of laughter, birthday memories and warm get-togethers will never be forgotten.

You are in our hearts and prayers at this time... We'll be in touch again very soon. Take care and God bless you all...

To the Family of Karl,

You have my heart-felt condolences during your time of bereavement. As you know, Karl was my supervisor at UI for many years. In fact, he has been one of the two best supervisors that I have ever had the privilege to work with in my lifetime. As a young minority female, starting out in my career, Karl's leadership, guidance, support and compassion, gave me the endurance and confidence that I needed to have achieved my Director position at UI today. I have learned so much from his knowledge and teachings before and after his retirement from the Company. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Karl. Although he will be missed in physical presence, he will always be remembered for what he has given of himself to others.

God Bless!

Julie,Lisa,Kurt,Todd and Kraig,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family during this time. Karl was a quiet and gentle man who loved his family so much.
One of the memories that will always bring a smile to me is when you lived on Barrett St. and Karl would start practicing his chip shots in the early spring to get ready for his game.
Keep him close to your heart and know that his struggle is over and he is at peace. The tears you have now will, in time, become tears from laughter as you think of him and the cherished memories.
I love each of you and think of you often.
Love and peace,
Norah
