We got to know Marie when we first moved to Hadley seven years ago. It was always a great time to visit her and be touched by her enthusiasm for the Lord. Her heart for prayer, intercession, and worship was contagious to us. Whenever I walked into her apartment, I always felt God's holiness residing there. We will miss her tremendously. And we are rejoicing that she has run the good race and has left a legacy of faith for her friends and family.

Marie was a wonderful friend who was always delighted to hear from me. Even though we were from different generations, there was no separation of hearts. She loved her family tremendously and was very proud of each and every one of them. When we would get together for lunch, she always had a big agenda which included filling me in on all their accomplishments. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and delighted in making special gifts with depth of meaning that only she could fully know. She was a woman of prayer and trust in God. I will miss her.

Just wanted to say I was a nurse who helped take care of Marie and she will be sadly missed. I enjoyed her smile and her stories about music. May she rest in peace.
